Lesley Cutts

Glass artist, charity worker, maker, worshiper, lover of life, lover of God, lover of colour, lover of people, lover of texture.

Cutts began glass art by attempting to make something out of scrap.Dispite being successful through making cheese boards and olive dishes, Cutts has still found a way to express her love for colour, exaggerating the natural beauty of life around her.

Earth, Fire and Water are visual snippets of larger artworks. Cutts knows that people aspire for a more beautiful everyday, and most of her works find themselves humbly sitting ontop of tableclothes and underneath a fresh cup of tea.

'One of my thoughts is that art should be part of the everyday, so I make mine into lamps, sun-catchers, bowls, coasters, pictures, kitchen tiles or splash-backs so that people don't have to pay a fortune for creative elements as part of the everyday.'
